DOCTORAL DEGREE PROGRAM IN SCIENCES OF NATURAL RESOURCES

The aims and a full description of this Program can be found in the following website: www.doctoradorrnn.ufro.cl.

Interested applicants must be in possession of an Academic Degree as Master or Bachelor’s Degree such as: Degree in Chemistry, BS in Biology, BA in Biochemistry, Agronomist, Agricultural Engineer, Forest Engineer, Bioprocess Engineer or Environmental Engineer or equivalent professional degree.

Documents required for the applicants

• Letter addressed to the Director of the Program justifying their interest for our Program.
You may also include the research topic of your interest.
• Curriculum Vitae
• Professional Title Certificate & Academic Degree
• Marks records or High School Transcripts
• Two recommendation letters from highly qualified academics Persons
• Two passport photos
• Passport photocopy or identity card

Applications will be accepted until october 14 of the present year at 12.00 am in sealed envelope addressed by regular mail to: Programa de Doctorado y Magister en Ciencias de Recursos Naturales, Casilla 54-D, Temuco, Chile. All applications will be discussed by the Academic Committee. The pre-selected candidates will be published through the institutional website www.doctoradorrnn.ufro.cl

The selection process included: 1) Interview with the Director and Program Committee members (video conference will also be accepted), 2) Critical analysis of a scientific publication and 3) English placement test and 4) Vocational test.

Important dates

The call will be open from august 29 to october 14. Selection of candidates will be between 17 and 30 of October, 2016.
The academic activities will start on March 2017.
